The two mains types of production companies are :

- Studio production companies

The independent production company is a small scale production company, with a small amount of people, made and produced on location with a limited budget.

The Studio production company is a larger scale production company, the company has a lot of crew and usually is created in a studio but sometimes on location. Hollywood production where film get filtered through at a large scale.
